God Bless our Fallen Police Officers
and Firefighters
WE WILL NEVER FORGET

This
page is Dedicated to all of those brave souls who lost their
lives on September 11, 2001 in the Attack on America.
During
a candlelight Vigil held on Sunday September 23, 2001 in the
Town of Whitman, MA. The Town's Fire Chief speaking to the Police
Officers, Fire Fighters and Medical Personnel, said these words:
"All
of us here know what our job is and how to do it. As we all go out
and do that job, I caution you to be careful and ever vigilant to
your surroundings. Remember,
we are at war and we just suffered the first casualties."
As
we all mourn the loss of our brothers and sisters, remember to keep
their lives and legacies alive. Remember their families and friends.
Let us help each other in any way we can through these terrible
times in all of our lives. Make the words forever engraved on the
Rockland Police Memorial "A
Call to Duty" ring true:
"Let
My Loss and Your sorrow
Be
Not In Vain,
Please
Remember Me"
