Ofc. Larry Buiel

Ofc. Larry Buiel is 48 years old and joined the Rockland Police Department on August 5th, 1978. Larry is a graduate of Rockland High School (1969) and has a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Boston State College (1978), now known as the University of Massachusetts - Boston. Ofc. Buiel was one of the original five police officers who started the Rockland Police Honor Guard in 1987. Larry is also a member of the Rockland Police Special Response Entry Team.

Larry enjoys spending quiet time in his remote hunting and fishing camp deep in the woods of Maine. He also enjoys, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and riding motorcycles.

Larry has been married to his wife Suzanne for 22 years. They have two children: Joseph (18) plays football and wrestles for Duxbury High School. Stephanie (16) studies Art and plays soccer for Duxbury High School as well. "
