Gregory A. Pigeon
Sergeant Greg Pigeon has been a member of the Rockland Police Department since January of 1999.He was appointed as a full time officer in July 2001 and graduated from the Plymouth Police Academy in December 2001. Greg was promoted to the rank of sergeant in June 2006.
Greg is currently assigned as a patrol shift supervisor on the midnight to eight shift. He is a member of the Rockland Police motorcycle unit, as well as a member of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (METROLEC) mobile operation unit.
He joined the Rockland Police Honor Guard in 2002. Greg has traveled to Washington D.C. every year since 2001 to attend the National Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial service.
Greg is a 1979 graduate of Rockland High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Providence College in 1983. He also attended Western New England College and earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration in the fall of 2003.
Greg is a longtime resident of Rockland where he currently resides with his wife Sharon and daughter Alexandra. |
